Answer: ₹750. 25% of ₹1,000 = ₹250. ₹1,000 − ₹250 = ₹750.

Answer: 5. Subtracting a negative adds: −9 + 7 + 7 = 5.

Answer: 18. 18 × 18 = 324, so √324 = 18.

Question 5 · Triangle area

A triangle has a base of 6 cm and a height of 15 cm. What is its area?

  3. C. 180 cm²
  4. D. 39 cm²

Answer: 45 cm². Area = ½ × base × height = ½ × 6 × 15 = 45 cm².
