Answer: 382. 538 − 156 = 382. Borrow from the next place when a digit on top is smaller.

Answer: 44. Divide 55 by 5 to get 11, then multiply by 4: 44.

What is 18 + 3 × 6 − 15?

Answer: 21. Multiply first (BODMAS): 3 × 6 = 18. Then 18 + 18 − 15 = 21.
